Those first ten year have gone quickly! We started Classic Candle back in 2015 with one simple goal – to make beautiful home fragrance that feels special, but still accessible to everyone. We’re a small, family-run team based just outside of Woodbridge in Suffolk (which, fun fact, was recently voted the happiest place to live in the UK!). It’s a lovely part of the world, and it definitely inspires a lot of what we do.
Everything we make is poured by hand in small batches, candles, wax melts, diffusers, minilights. We don’t outsource or mass-produce. Our team blends the fragrances, pours the wax, designs the labels, and packs every single order right here in-house. It means we have complete control over quality, and we think that care comes through in each product.
Over the years, we’ve built up a collection of over 250 fragrances, which still surprises us sometimes! There’s something for everyone, from clean and fresh scents like “Classic Cotton” to rich, cosy blends like “Pumpkin Spice” and “Cozy Cabin.” We also have an “Inspired By” wax melt collection that’s a nod to popular perfumes, aftershaves, and iconic scents people already know and love.
We’re especially proud of the strength and quality of our products. It’s something we hear often, that our melts and candles really fill a room and last well. We’re fragrance lovers ourselves, so we spend a lot of time testing and refining every blend to make sure it delivers.
In 2023, we launched The MiniPot Club, which is our wax melt subscription service. It’s been amazing seeing the community grow, with hundreds of subscribers enjoying a mix of exclusive and bestselling melts delivered every month. It’s a fun way to discover new favourites and get something lovely through the letterbox each month.
We try to keep things personal. Whether it’s replying to messages quickly, handwriting a thank you note in your order, or just chatting with customers in our Classic Candle Community on Facebook, we genuinely enjoy getting to know the people who support us. Your feedback often inspires new ideas or even new scents!
